Behind the Glasses

     When you first meet ten year old Savannah, you instantly notice her sense of style.  Savannah is always known to rock funky hats and over sized  glasses.  If you get to know this young lady you’ll find that behind this fashion icon is a long time club member with a great heart.

      Savannah, a 5th grader at Longview Elementary has been attending the club for three years and she attends every day!  Her outgoing personality always seems to rub off on other members.  Savannah participates in softball, volleyball and basketball.  She also enjoys learning to play guitar and piano.  “I love coming to the club because of the games and the photography class.  The best part though is always seeing my friends,” says Savannah when asked why she comes to the club.  Savannah has participated in Torch Club and is on her second year of being involved in Image Makers Photography Club.

The club is important because you get involved and you’re not just sitting at home.”  Savannah has big plans to attend Washington State University and become a veterinarian.  We know she can do it!  We are so proud of Savannah and honored to get to know her.
