REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Community Violence Intervention
The Community Violence Intervention Safety Committee (CVISC) is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to support the implementation of the Moses Lake Youth Violence Reduction Plan. This initiative focuses on reducing gun and gang violence among youth ages 10–16 through coordinated prevention, intervention, and community engagement strategies. The selected agency will support collaboration among partners, implement community-based strategies, manage data collection and evaluation activities, and provide program implementation aligned with the Violence Reduction Plan. This effort follows a public health approach to violence prevention, which addresses root causes of violence by strengthening protective factors such as family support, youth engagement, trauma-informed services, and community collaboration.
